While exploring the Catalpa logbook during the rescue, I had a bit of a fun challenge trying to decipher the old handwriting to uncover the stories within. So, I decided to take on a little adventure of my own—translating the script into typed words! I’ve just begun this journey, but I’ll be updating this link as I go along. 

I'm also working on plotting the latitude and longitude from key dates to create a more detailed map of their incredible journey. Keep in mind—I'm an amateur historian, so this is all a work in progress. But I’m excited to keep learning and sharing this adventure with you!
